(SPOILERS)
so i sat down to watch the movie on 'Blu-Ray'.
It starts of with a cat being killed by an internet baddie.
Because a glue trap is the most comically 'funny' thing to do to a cat. I was hoping that the character would proceed to have sex with the dead feline, getting his knees stuck and shit, and make the kinds of noises of a dog at coitus.
But nothing like that in 'Untraceable'.
I was enjoying it, watching the horror unfold - and then suddenly, there it was. The 'message'. Diane Lane (who should be shot by an anon for acting in the movie), all of a sudden, says something about 'They are downloading everything, freely'.
From this point, the movie becomes an MPAA soapbox. The whole fucking structure of the movie is to convince people that the internet is BAD. That downloading is BAD. And not that it is actually BAD, but that it is bad for Diane Lane. Like, acid flaking skin BAD.
I bought their playstation for $400, like a good boy. I subscribed to fucking netflix. And this is what I get? In crystal clarity?
Oh. Ha. The cat is just about done. Microwaves, folks, will not give you cancer.

I'm glad to see you're not letting your education get in the way of your ignorance.
